The Programs, Projects and people we support

The BSS  provides funding for so many things at Britannia Secondary. 

Here is a small sample of what your generosity has supported in the last year. 

• We supported the Swim team through the purchase of swim caps for all of the students 
• Basketball……

• Several promoting students were able to attend Stanford University Virtual Summer program focused in Artificial Intelligence.  

• All students  in grades 10-12 attended a screening of the critically acclaimed film “Beans” by Tracy Deer 

• Funding was provided for a workshop that provided the grade 8 and 9 students  with valuable sexual education regarding anatomy, gender identity and consent. 
• Grade 10 and 11 students took part in Safeteen workshops. 

• The BSS funded the purchase of a pink t-shirt for every student. This ensured that all students were able to participate in a day that celebrates inclusion and highlights anti-bullying.
